Kathleen Scott, Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Originally from the New York and New England region of the US, Kathleen has been a Californian for over 30 years now. Kathleen has had many challenges in life and faced each one with a mantra she learned from reading the great author Maya Angelou: “When you know better, you do better.”
Kathleen was a writer and editor for many years throughout Southern California before obtaining her Masters in Social Work from California State University in Fullerton. In the quest to reach her goal for licensure in therapy practice, Kathleen gained much insight from working with families in the process of adoption. Kathleen has also helped couples and individuals recover from past trauma and find healing at every stage of life. Kathleen has been on staff at Saddleback church counseling couples, individuals and families through many of life’s ups and downs. Additionally, Kathleen has, and continues, to serve with non-profit agencies in the Los Angeles area assessing and treating children and adults with mental health disorders.
